At Colebrook Foot Clinic we use a special elastic gel which gives you perfect nails, giving you back the confidence to show off your toes.

New Patient Appointment:
We understand that each patient is unique, and your initial visit is an opportunity for us to get to know you and your specific concerns. During this appointment, we'll conduct a thorough assessment of your foot health, discuss any issues or discomfort you may be experiencing, create a personalised treatment plan, and address minor foot concerns such as corn removal, callus (hard skin) removal, or relief from ingrown toenails.

Biomechanical Assessment:
If you are experiencing lower limb pain related to muscles, tendons, or bones, our biomechanical assessment can help determine the root cause. During this assessment, our experts evaluate your gait and foot structure, identifying abnormalities that may contribute to pain or discomfort. Based on the assessment, we may recommend orthotics or other interventions to improve your mobility and comfort. If necessary, bespoke orthotics can be prescribed, custom-made from a cast of your feet to correct your gait and alleviate stress on joints and damaged tissues (please inquire for orthotic pricing).

Surgical Assessment:
If you're facing ingrown nail issues, our clinic offers comprehensive surgical assessments. Our experienced team assesses the necessity of surgical interventions and provides expert guidance. Surgical procedures, if required, are conducted at our clinic by our senior podiatrist.
Nail Surgery:
For more severe nail problems such as ingrown toenails or persistent infections, rely on our skilled podiatrists to perform nail surgery. This procedure is designed to alleviate discomfort and prevent recurrence, ensuring the long-term health of your nails.
Verruca Needling :
Faulkner's needling technique is a minor surgical procedure performed under local anesthetic for a comfortable treatment where the verruca is pierced many times with a sterile needle, creating local inflammation and encouraging viral recognition by your own body in order to stimulate an immune response and eliminate stubborn verrucae resistant to conventional treatments, this is a specialist procedure performed by our advanced practitioners

Diabetic Review:
Currently the NHS is not offering regular diabetic review and diabetic patients require specialised foot care to prevent complications. Our diabetic reviews encompass thorough examinations, education on foot health, and the management of diabetic-related foot issues, ensuring the continued well-being of your feet. To prevent ulceration and amputation we recommend a yearly checkup.

General Podiatry:
Our general podiatry services encompass the diagnosis and treatment of common foot conditions, including benign skin lesions, corns, verrucae, ulcers, nail fungus, thickened nails, and calluses (hard skin). Your general podiatry appointment typically begins with a luxurious foot soak to soften your feet. Following this, we expertly cut and file your nails, reduce thickness where needed, and address any corns or calluses. Our aim is to provide immediate relief from discomfort and ensure your feet are happy.

Cryotherapy for Warts and Verrucae:
For the safe and effective removal of warts and verrucae, we offer cryotherapy treatment. This is one of the most effective treatments for stubborn verrucae. The approach involves freezing infected tissue encouraging an immune response causing the body to rid itself of the virus, this can provide relief from this common foot condition, ensuring your comfort and well-being. It is important to note that cryotherapy may take multiple sessions to be effective.
